Canada Games Aquatic Centre, Saint John

Thank you to New Brunswick Children's Foundation for their generous donation. This will assist in funding the cost for high school teachers to earn certifications to teach lifesaving and lifeguarding programs in high schools. This program gives students the opportunity to earn certifications in Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, and National Lifeguard, paving the way for future work as lifeguards. The program will be integrated into the school curriculum, allowing students to take the courses as part of their regular coursework. The courses are led by Simonds High School and Saint John High School Alumni Association who were trained by the Aquatic Centre.
