Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fredericton and Oromocto

The team of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fredericton and Oromocto were pleased to receive a grant award of $10,000 to help support school and mentoring programs for local children and youth. Left to Right - Michelle Fowler (Mentoring Coordinator), John Foley (Executive Director), Anita Legere (Past President) and a local summer marketing student Adam Hourihan. There are more than 50 children on the waiting list. Once the school programs start up in September, this number will grow quickly. These funds will help launch a campaign in August to bring in 50 new mentors in 90 days.
